Family Nanny & House Manager

About the role

We are seeking a warm, proactive Family Nanny & House Manager to support our two school‑age twins, an energetic goldendoodle, and the overall household in Dallas. The role is part‑time, 25–30 hours per week, with flexible evenings and occasional overnight stays.

Key responsibilities

• Manage school pick‑up, after‑school routines and provide primary childcare coverage 3:00–6:00 PM daily, with extended hours on Tuesdays and occasional evenings.
• Support homework, coordinate playdates, transport children to activities using a personal vehicle, and administer prescription eye drops.
• Maintain household organization: daily resets, weekly deep cleaning, seasonal clothing swaps, and occasional deep‑clean projects.
• Handle family administrative tasks: calendar management, receipt processing, credit‑card purchases, and travel logistics.
• Perform laundry, restock supplies, run errands (Trader Joe’s, Amazon), and assist with simple meal preparation.

Required profile

• Experienced in managing a household and anticipating needs without being asked.
• Genuinely warm and engaging with school‑age children, patient with homework and creative without relying on screens.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to adapt to last‑minute changes while maintaining clear communication with both parents.
• Committed to relieving the mental load for the family by taking ownership of tasks and offering thoughtful solutions.

Required skills

• Maintain a smoke‑free environment and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and a reliable personal vehicle.
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before start).
• Comfortable working in a pet‑friendly home with a large‑breed dog.
• Comfortable around water and able to assist children when swimming.
• Willing to stay overnight occasionally for travel or scheduling needs.

What we offer

• Hourly compensation $28–$33 based on experience.
• Mileage reimbursement for use of personal vehicle.
