Factory Quality Technician (Night Shift)

About the role

Join Nestlé’s pet‑food manufacturing team in Allentown to ensure the safety and quality of our beloved pet products. This night‑shift position supports continuous operations and contributes to environmental sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical and sensory tests on finished pet food products accurately and precisely.
• Audit incoming raw materials, check parameters and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Maintain, clean, and calibrate laboratory equipment according to standards.
• Collaborate with lab associates to meet shift, department, and factory objectives.
• Isolate and detain non‑conforming pet food and lead corrective‑action planning.
• Assist in preparation for regulatory compliance audits.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of quality assurance experience in manufacturing, production, pharmaceutical, military or related environment.
• Ability to work the night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) on a continuous operations schedule.

Required skills

• Physical and sensory testing of pet food products.
• Laboratory equipment maintenance, cleaning, and calibration.
• Conducting audits of incoming materials and compliance documentation.
