Factory Manager – Pet Food Production

About the role

As the Factory Manager you will be the primary representative of the Edmond pet‑food plant to internal teams, the broader Nestlé Purina organization and the local community. You will lead the facility to sustain peak performance, solve operational challenges and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and communicate a clear vision for the factory that aligns with Nestlé Purina’s overall objectives.
• Set measurable objectives, monitor progress and hold the team accountable for results.
• Ensure compliance with health, food‑safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and make data‑driven decisions that optimize operations.
• Develop the management team through performance management, career development and succession planning.
• Manage employee and industrial relations and maintain positive community relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 4+ years of experience managing factory budgets.

Required skills

• Lean Management principles.
• Total Performance Management (TPM) methodology.
• Project management within budget and timeline constraints.
