Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the role

Ocean Spray is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operation of corporate facilities. The role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of building systems, as well as supporting snow removal, material handling, and event setups.

Key responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems and light carpentry work.
• Respond to tenant service requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and common areas.
• Assist with snow removal as needed.
• Support material handling, including moving furniture and office setups.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown as required.

Required profile

• Knowledge of tools, materials, methods and practices in facility maintenance.
• Ability to operate power and manual tools and light/heavy equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and prioritize tasks independently.
• Flexible schedule with on‑call rotation (once every 3 weeks).
• Preferred: 2+ years of maintenance experience in a commercial or office environment.
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
