Facilities Coordinator – Soft Services

About the role

The Facilities Coordinator – Soft Services will oversee third‑party providers delivering soft services such as cleaning, catering, pest control and tenant improvements at Airbus' Mobile, AL manufacturing site. The role ensures that service delivery meets quality, cost and schedule expectations while supporting the overall facility operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate soft‑service projects including janitorial, food service, transportation and landscaping.
• Monitor vendor performance, track KPIs and implement corrective action plans.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with stakeholders.
• Review, approve and process invoices for all soft‑service activities.
• Collaborate with the FM team to maintain interior spaces and support tenant improvement build‑outs.
• Identify training needs for vendors and ensure compliance with contract terms.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years subcontractor management experience in a production environment.
• Proven ability to manage and report subcontractor activities, ensuring quality, cost and schedule compliance.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a focus on strategic solutions.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; IFMA or BOMA certification a plus.
• Prior experience in aerospace or manufacturing facility management is advantageous.
