Fabrication Supervisor - Night Shift

About the role

The Fabrication Supervisor oversees the fabrication shop, guiding hourly workers’ development, approving time, and driving productivity. The role ensures deliverables are completed on schedule, improves safety standards, stays within budget, and maintains the highest quality possible.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Fabrication Coordinators to execute deliverables per schedule.
• Report schedule deviations to Senior Supervisor, Project Managers, and Scheduling Department.
• Send inspection notifications following ITP/JQR and obtain overtime authorizations.
• Account for project hours, billable time, and KRONOS approvals.
• Maintain quality of work performed by assigned employees.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Lead safety program participation, conduct morning toolbox meetings, and update performance boards.
• Drive process improvements, training, housekeeping, and 5S compliance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical diploma or vocational certificate preferred.
• Minimum five years of relevant industrial fabrication experience.
• Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) considered a plus.
• Knowledge of ASME codes and pipe‑spool/vessel fabrication a plus.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Fabrication of pipe spools and vessels.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email.
• Familiarity with ASME code requirements.
