Job description
About the role
Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking an Experiential Marketing Manager to lead its global events program and create experiences that put the brand in front of the customers, partners, and operators who matter most. This role focuses on building memorable moments that drive measurable business results, not traditional field marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Own strategy, budget, and execution of the flagship annual symposium, from concept through day‑of operations and post‑event measurement.
- Design and deliver memorable experiences – unexpected venues, standout swag, and viral activations that keep Second Front top of mind.
- Run happy hours, socials, executive dinners and reinvent formats to drive deals and partnerships.
- Manage sporting and action‑sports activations, suite hospitality and VIP programs.
- Lead trade‑show presence and large‑scale booth builds, including design direction, vendor management, logistics, staffing and lead capture.
- Partner with sales and demand‑generation teams to tie activations to pipeline and measurable outcomes.
- Oversee external vendors, agencies and production partners, enforcing deadlines, budgets and quality standards.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience running experiential, events or field marketing, including large‑scale (250+ attendees) flagship events.
- Proven portfolio of moments that remain memorable and that directly contributed to business results.
- Hands‑on ownership of strategy, budgeting, logistics, vendor management and measurement.
- Existing relationships and fluency within the defense tech, govtech or national security ecosystem (highly preferred).
- Ability to balance bold, unconventional ideas with disciplined execution under tight timelines.
- Willingness to travel and a hospitality instinct that shines under pressure.
What we offer
- Competitive salary ($135,000‑$150,000) plus equity incentives and discretionary bonuses.
- 100% healthcare, vision and dental coverage.
- 401(k) with 3% company match.
- Wellness perks, tech and office supplies stipend.
- Annual professional development stipend.
- Flexible paid time off, federal holidays, parental leave and remote‑first work environment.
