Experienced Debt Collection Agent – Full‑Time

About the role

Credit Control is seeking experienced debt collection agents to join its Tampa call‑center team. The position is full‑time, onsite and offers a clear path for growth within a company recognized as a top workplace in collections.

Key responsibilities

• Make inbound and outbound calls to customers with past‑due accounts.
• Track and manage all accounts assigned to your route.
• Negotiate repayment terms and plan actions to recover outstanding balances.
• Address customer questions and complaints while ensuring compliance with local, state and federal collection laws.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast‑paced call‑center environment.
• Basic math and computer literacy.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to cooperate with colleagues.
• At least one year of experience in third‑party collections or a related call‑center role.
• Willingness to pass a background check.
