Expeditor - Xfinity Center

About the role

Legends Global is hiring an expeditor for its Xfinity Center restaurant in Mansfield. The expeditor acts as the link between front-of-house and back-of-house, ensuring food is cooked in the correct order, served efficiently and presented correctly to guests. The pay rate is $20 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate orders and information between front of house and back of house, and make sure food is cooked in the right order, efficiently and presented correctly.
• Follow opening and closing procedures and food preparation assignments.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and ensure items are delivered accurately.
• Keep work areas safe, neat and sanitary, and keep the kitchen clean including shelves, walls, floors and drains.
• Handle and clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely, and follow appearance and uniform standards.
• Lead the food runners and coordinate accurate delivery of orders.
• Work as a team player in preparation, service and delivery, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant.
• Able to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, and lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must follow safety policies and complete company safety training.
