Executive House Manager & Family Assistant

About the role

This part‑time position supports a busy executive family in San Jose, overseeing daily household operations, children’s schedules, and pet care. The role blends hands‑on household management with active family assistance, ensuring a smooth, safe, and welcoming home environment.

Key responsibilities

• Transport children to school, sports, and extracurricular activities; provide light supervision and backup childcare as needed.
• Maintain daily tidying, surface cleaning, vacuuming, and overall household organization.
• Manage household inventories, grocery lists, and subscription orders (Costco, Amazon, Target).
• Plan weekly meals, shop for groceries, and prepare three simple, healthy family‑style dinners per week.
• Handle laundry for the family and sports uniforms, rotate linens and towels.
• Walk, play with, and care for the family’s Bernadoodle puppy, including grooming and veterinary appointments.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, and seasonal outdoor‑space preparation.
• Perform quarterly deep‑clean tasks such as refrigerator cleaning and other special projects.
