Executive Director, Video and Content Production

About the role

Texas A&M University is looking for an Executive Director of Video and Content Production to lead its central video storytelling operation. This senior leader will shape the university’s brand, reputation, and reach by overseeing the strategy, creation, distribution, and performance of video content that highlights the institution’s impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead video strategy and story development for the university’s central video content hub.
• Serve as executive producer for major video projects, including brand campaigns, institutional storytelling, research highlights, student and alumni profiles, and executive communications.
• Identify high‑impact stories, define target audiences, and shape narratives for maximum reach.
• Translate university priorities, brand strategy, and audience insights into compelling video concepts, series, and campaigns.
• Oversee the full production lifecycle—from creative brief and scripting to field production, post‑production, review, and distribution planning.
• Ensure all video content aligns with Texas A&M’s mission, values, and institutional goals.
• Mentor and develop video professionals, raising creative standards and building a modern, platform‑native content operation.
