Evening Custodian – Night Shift Cleaning Technician

About the role

DNC Facility Services is hiring dependable cleaning technicians for our night crew at Panola College. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long‑term position in a campus environment, working as part of a team that holds a professional standard and supports each other. The shift runs Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 1:30 AM and Friday from 12 PM to 8:30 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floor care throughout campus buildings.
• Dust and disinfect high‑touch surfaces.
• Follow campus security and site‑specific procedures.
• Communicate clearly with your Team Lead and coworkers.

Required profile

• Reliable – shows up on time, every shift, without exception.
• A team player – works well with others and contributes to a positive, respectful environment.
• Detail‑oriented – takes pride in leaving spaces inspection‑ready.
• Coachable – willing to learn and follow the DNC standard.
• Comfortable working nights and closing out a campus building independently or as part of a small team.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus, but not required – we will train the right person.
