Etch SRP New Product Introduction Instructor

About the role

The Etch SRP New Product Introduction (NPI) Instructor will act as both a technical instructor and expert for new and existing semiconductor etch tools, based in Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA, with remote work flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialized NPI technical training both in‑house and at customer locations, including domestic and international travel.
• Learn and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of new and improved products to prepare and present defined courses.
• Develop and update training curriculum, student guides, and supporting materials for new tools, ensuring alignment with product development phases.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for training systems, ensuring safety retrofits are installed and systems function for course objectives.
• Coach and mentor other instructors, manage multiple training projects, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on first‑article builds and final testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, training, or equivalent military experience.
• Minimum 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience in installation, programming, safety, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair.

Required skills

• Mechanical and electrical systems knowledge.
• Semiconductor equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Robotics and programmable controller expertise.
• Power supplies, pneumatics, vacuum and high‑voltage/high‑current systems.
• Use of hand tools, measuring instruments and testing equipment.
• Instructional design and project management.

What we offer

• Salary range $96,500 – $132,500 per year.
