Escrow Assistant – Real Estate Settlement

About the role

We are looking for an organized and customer‑focused Escrow Assistant to join our Independence Title office in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area. You will work closely with the Escrow Officer to ensure smooth, accurate processing of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the collection of information needed to finalize home sales.
• Handle front‑end processing and post‑closing/funding tasks as directed.
• Read contracts, commitments and orders, and assemble required closing documents.
• Maintain files, record documentation, issue checks after closing, and transmit documents to lenders.
• Provide courteous, professional service to external customers and internal team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of escrow experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Experience with the RamQuest system (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
