Escrow Assistant – Buffalo, MN

About the role

You’re the glue that holds real estate transactions together, supporting the closing representative and coordinating with agents, buyers, sellers, lawyers, lenders, and surveyors to ensure timely, stress‑free closings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding assistance to the closing representative to keep sales smooth and retain business.
• Prepare loan documents for signing, present them, return signed documents to lenders, and follow up on funding conditions.
• Review purchase contracts for completeness, request missing information, perform preliminary audits, and prepare estimated closing statements.
• Maintain files, record documentation, send checks after closing, and transmit documents to lenders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry players to encourage them to choose us for escrow processing.

• Patience personified, handling agents, buyers and sellers calmly and empathetically.
• Organization guru who tracks every detail and assembles complete, error‑free packages.
• Devoted to detail, spotting missing or incorrect items and pursuing solutions.
• Multi‑tasker able to process many contracts simultaneously under deadline pressure.
• Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, delivering news sensitively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
