Equity Capital Markets Analyst – Investment Banking

About the role

The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Analyst works within DB’s ECM Group to structure, market, and execute bespoke equity transactions for corporations and financial institutions. The role collaborates closely with client coverage teams and product groups such as Strategic Equity, Debt Capital Markets, and Leveraged Finance, handling IPOs, follow‑on offerings, block sales, ATM programs, and private placements.

Key responsibilities

• Support origination, evaluate new opportunities, and execute deals across a broad range of corporate clients.
• Create client deliverables, respond to ad‑hoc requests, and prepare recommendations on timing, size, structure, and investor universe.
• Produce high‑value financial analysis and ensure client materials reflect current market and sector trends.
• Coordinate information with industry/product groups, internal constituents, lawyers, and other banks during deal execution.
• Identify process improvements, address gaps, and ensure compliance with bank policies and risk guidelines.
