Environmental Technical Support Specialist

About the role

Sedgwick is hiring an Environmental Technical Support Specialist to support a fast-paced office with proposals, reports and other technical support for Project Managers and Management. The role is hybrid and must be based in the NJ/NYC area. It acts as an internal consultant, giving professional guidance and support to staff and clients in completing environmental projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership, consultation and support to EFI Global staff and clients in completing environmental projects.
• Plan, develop and deliver client presentations on project completion issues.
• Take part in planning and executing project analysis and initiatives.
• Help staff develop plans, objectives, methods and processes for assigned projects.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary experts needed to complete project analysis and findings.
• Work directly with managers and technical staff on complex environmental issues.
• Guide the creation of client-facing materials that explain project progress.
• Act as a source of expertise on environmental and RPS topics and keep up with trends, policies and emerging issues in the field.
• Support the organization's quality programs and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Preferred bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Licenses as required.
• Four years of related practical work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to write comprehensive, accurate and constructive reports and to work in a team.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
• Knowledge of general terms, conditions and nomenclature used in the Environmental Services industry.
• Analytical, interpretive and organizational skills, with strong oral and written communication.

What we offer

• Starting pay range of $50,000 - $60,000 for the stated jurisdiction.
