Environmental Services Specialist – Part‑Time (Days)

About the role

The Environmental Services Specialist supports Kingman Healthcare’s mission to provide a safe, clean, and high‑quality environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Working part‑time during daytime hours, the role focuses on maintaining sanitation standards across patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
• Dispose of medical and biohazard waste in accordance with federal, state, and organizational guidelines.
• Clean, disinfect, and sanitize assigned patient rooms, bathrooms, and designated areas daily.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored safely and away from patient access.
• Use cleaning chemicals and commercial equipment according to regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain laundry areas, ensure adequate stock of laundered materials, and document deliveries accurately.
• Participate in continuous process‑improvement initiatives and report any problems to the supervisor.
• Attend scheduled department meetings and demonstrate reliable attendance.

Required profile

• Valid U.S. driver’s license (must be 21 years or older).
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Proficient reading and writing skills to respond appropriately during emergencies.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities, stand, bend, lift up to 20 lb (occasionally up to 50 lb), and operate commercial cleaning equipment.
