Entry-Level Wastewater Engineer

About the role

Fuss & O’Neill is seeking a motivated early‑career professional to join our Boston team as an Entry‑Level Wastewater Engineer. Starting in December 2025, you will work alongside experienced technical specialists to design and deliver innovative wastewater treatment projects that improve community quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of wastewater treatment systems using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS tools.
• Conduct fieldwork and site inspections for ongoing projects.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, permit applications, and other documentation.
• Participate in project meetings, contribute to problem‑solving, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering with a focus on wastewater engineering.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (required) and strong interpersonal and writing abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with ESRI ArcMap is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lb of equipment.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setting, combining office collaboration with remote work.
