Entry-Level Sustainability Consultant (Remote)

About the role

We are a leading sustainability enterprise seeking a motivated graduate to join our environmental advisory team in New York. As an Entry‑Level Sustainability Consultant you will support corporate clients, real‑estate developers, and municipal agencies in decarbonisation, resource efficiency and compliance with local environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in compiling and verifying Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse‑gas emissions inventories using enterprise sustainability software.
• Coordinate with engineering and architecture teams to analyse building‑scale data and help projects achieve certifications such as LEED, WELL or local energy codes.
• Build and maintain data models that track client resource usage, focusing on water stewardship, waste diversion and energy efficiency.
• Conduct market research and peer benchmarking to identify and prioritise ESG materiality for corporate clients.

Required profile

• Recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Infrastructure, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with comfort managing spreadsheets and large data sets.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical metrics into clear business insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
