About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Legal Assistant to join our immigration law firm in New York City. The role is fully on‑site, Monday‑Friday, and offers the chance to gain hands‑on experience supporting attorneys with routine case work.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and file basic legal documents.
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital case files.
  • Collect documents from clients and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Perform data‑entry and other administrative tasks.
  • Provide general office support to the legal team as needed.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
  • Clear, professional communication skills.
  • Willingness to work on‑site in NYC, Monday‑Friday.
  • Preferred: 1 year of customer‑service or administrative experience; Spanish fluency is a plus.

Required skills

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

What we offer

  • Salary range $45,000 – $52,000 per year.
  • Full‑time, in‑office schedule 9 am – 5 pm.
