Entry-Level Groundskeeper for Avignon Townhomes

About the role

We are seeking an entry‑level Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of the Avignon Townhomes community. The role involves daily inspection, cleaning, and upkeep of outdoor areas, as well as supporting the service team and residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep common areas tidy.
• Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist with turn‑over tasks.
• Change locks and ensure pool gates operate according to safety codes.
• Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and handle maintenance complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Previous groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb independently and 25 lb with assistance.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of safe use of hand tools, power tools and mechanical equipment.
