Entry-Level Civil Engineer – Land Development

About the role

At Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., we are looking for an entry‑level civil engineer to support land‑development projects. The role involves planning, designing, and overseeing construction of stormwater, road, water distribution, and sewer systems for residential and commercial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD and other design software to create plans for water, sanitary sewer, roadway, and stormwater infrastructure.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies during plan reviews and permitting.
• Perform civil design calculations and analysis, preparing reports such as stormwater and right‑of‑way documents.
• Estimate material, equipment, and labor costs for project budgeting.
• Assist in field inspections and support construction activities as needed.

Required profile

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD for civil design.
