Enterprise Financial Operations Manager

About the role

The Manager, Enterprise Financial Operations provides enterprise‑wide financial management and oversight for the Autonomy Research Institute (ARI) at Texas A&M University‑Corpus Christi. The role supports executive leadership by aligning budgets, projects, and funding sources with university and institute requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and manage departmental and project financial accounts, ensuring proper allocation of funds and personnel expenses.
• Review and reconcile monthly financial activity, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Oversee an annual budget of $7‑10 million across state, local, and sponsored project funding sources.
• Provide financial forecasts, analyses, and recommendations to ARI leadership for strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field with eight years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with six years, or a Doctorate with four years.
• Extensive experience in grant and sponsored research administration, contract administration, and budget management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent project budgets and deliver accurate financial reporting.
