Enterprise Field Engineer – Pre‑sales

About the role

CodeRabbit is looking for an Enterprise Field Engineer to act as a technical advisor for its customers during the pre‑sales phase. You will partner with Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success to demonstrate the value of the AI‑powered code review platform and help prospects understand how it fits their development workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives to gather requirements and design customized technical solutions.
• Translate business objectives into technical specifications and solution architectures.
• Deliver compelling demos and Proof‑of‑Value engagements that showcase platform capabilities.
• Respond to security questionnaires and provide technical feedback to product and engineering teams.
• Stay current with AI‑driven development tools and contribute to internal playbooks and documentation.
• Support the hand‑off from pre‑sales to post‑sales to ensure smooth onboarding.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a customer‑facing technical role, with at least 2 years in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders, from engineers to business leaders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer needs simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, ownership‑driven and eager to learn new technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with command‑line interfaces.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions.
