About the role
Join Bosch's Cross Domain Computing Solutions division as an Engineering Technician Intern. You will work alongside experienced engineers and technicians, gaining hands‑on experience with automotive electronics, vehicle testing, and lab support.
Key responsibilities
- Support engineering technicians in daily tasks.
- Assist with builds of test boxes, special cables, and fixtures.
- Help with vehicle work such as dropping/installing fascia and sensors.
- Participate in re‑flash activities and update ECU software.
- Organise lab areas and maintain equipment.
- Run diagnostic reports on test vehicles for application teams.
- Transport test vehicles between customers and Bosch facilities.
- Collect data and execute vehicle test cases, including Predictive Emergency Braking tests.
Required profile
- Enrolled in a 2‑year associate degree program (e.g., Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Applied Science, Automotive).
- Basic mechanical and electrical understanding of vehicles with practical experience.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to work more than 24 hours per week.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with engineers and senior technicians.
