Engineering Technician II (T2) – 2nd Shift

About the role

Join Applied Materials as an NPC Engineering Technician II on the 2nd shift, working on cutting‑edge semiconductor and display equipment. You will apply electro‑mechanical expertise to design, test, fabricate, and troubleshoot complex systems that drive AI and next‑generation chip production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electro‑mechanical design, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronic and mechanical subsystems.
• Test and troubleshoot system‑level and component‑level issues in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum processes.
• Develop and execute test procedures, logbooks, and technical reports following engineering documentation standards.
• Support NPI installations, field upgrades, and quality‑lead activities with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to all safety policies and training.
• Provide technical training to junior technicians and serve as a subject‑matter resource for specific platforms.
