Engineering Technician – Denver Metro Area

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our Denver‑based team. The role focuses on laboratory testing, data processing, and field observation for geotechnical and civil engineering projects. You will work independently in a fast‑paced environment, interacting with clients, vendors, and project staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests in accordance with industry standards.
• Operate a nuclear densometer to measure material density.
• Process and analyze test data using specialized software and present results to stakeholders.
• Communicate test progress and outcomes to clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Document work with accurate field notes and sketches.
• Observe field and construction activities to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with all levels of staff and clients.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating high responsibility.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5–9 years of experience as a field and/or laboratory technician.
• Experience in field and construction observation (preferred).
• Current Nuclear Gage Safety and Transport Training.
• Current HAZWOPER certification, ACI & WAQTC certification, and Nuclear Gage certification.
