Engineering Account Specialist

About the role

The Engineering Account Specialist will develop and nurture relationships with project owners, developers, mechanical engineers, specifiers and nationwide contractors to promote Alfa Laval heat exchangers across the United States. This hybrid position supports multiple office locations and involves up to 50% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with major engineering firms and contractors.
• Identify and develop project opportunities in the engineers’ and contractors’ pipelines.
• Use data‑driven methods to target new contacts and close market gaps.
• Conduct sales calls and digital outreach (video, AI, social media) to drive product competency and capture opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline in Dynamics 365 CRM and meet sales and activity targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering account management within the US Hydronics/HVAC market.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Effective, open and clear communication skills with a self‑driven, action‑oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer and company meetings.

What we offer

• Base salary typically ranging from $100,000 to $115,000 USD per year.
