Engineer – Future Founder (AI‑First Role)

About the role

Savvy is looking for engineers who aspire to become founders. You will work closely with customers, help shape product road‑maps, prototype, build and ship AI‑driven solutions while owning company‑level outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Take problems from discovery to production, partnering with product, design and engineering teams.
• Work directly with financial advisors and internal teams to uncover friction, improve client experiences and reduce manual work.
• Leverage AI tools and coding agents (e.g., Claude, Codex) to accelerate development and deliver faster solutions.
• Own the outcome, make thoughtful decisions about what to build, and stay accountable for product execution.

Required profile

• Evidence of building things – side projects, startup attempts, accelerator applications.
• Solid AI‑enabled engineering fundamentals; comfortable using AI to write and debug code.
• High agency and follow‑through: investigate unclear issues, propose paths forward and see them through.
• Desire to understand customers, why problems matter and how solutions create enterprise value.
• Willingness to leave after 18 months to pursue a founder role.

Required skills

• Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude and Codex.
