About the role
Ochsner Health is seeking board‑certified Endocrinologists to join its St. Anne location in Raceland, Louisiana. The role involves diagnosing and treating hormone‑related disorders, providing both inpatient and outpatient consultations, and supporting the department’s clinical and academic activities. The position is full‑time with a salary range of $220,000–$260,000 annually and requires on‑site clinical duties.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients for diseases and disorders related to hormones and endocrine glands.
- Examine patients and review their medical records.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultation to other physicians as needed.
- Offer after‑hours call coverage for physicians.
- Attend and participate in departmental administrative and academic meetings.
- Travel weekly to Morgan City, Louisiana, to staff a clinic.
Required profile
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) and Louisiana medical license.
- Completion of an endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism fellowship.
- Experience in diagnosing and managing endocrine disorders.
