Elevator Service Technician – Boca Raton

About the role

Delaware Elevator of Florida is seeking experienced Service Technicians to maintain, service, and repair elevators throughout Southwestern Florida. The role involves hands‑on work on both private and public infrastructure, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly to performance issues.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, service, adjust, and test mechanical and electrical elevator equipment.
• Monitor elevator performance, identify issues, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies and entrapments.
• Work independently to meet customer needs for emergency repairs.
• Travel as required, including occasional overnight stays.
• Handle weight‑lifting and physical demands associated with repair projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an independent Elevator Mechanic/Technician.
• Valid elevator mechanic credentials or state elevator license.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to meet fit‑for‑duty physical requirements.
