Elevator Mechanic – Full-Time (Stallings, NC)

About the role

Delaware Elevator is expanding its field operations across the Eastern Seaboard and seeks an experienced Elevator Mechanic to join the team in North Carolina. The role involves installing, modernizing, maintaining, and repairing elevator systems while delivering high‑quality service to customers and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Install and upgrade elevator systems for new construction and modernization projects, from groundbreaking to final inspections.
• Repair, maintain, and test elevator equipment, addressing both mechanical and electronic components.
• Analyze information and evaluate solutions to solve complex problems.
• Interact professionally with customers, general contractors, and business owners to ensure quality service.

Required profile

• Elevator Mechanic license (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the elevator trade.
• Completion of a 4‑year federally approved apprenticeship program is a plus.
• Physical ability to climb, lift, balance, walk, stoop, and handle materials.
• Willingness to travel out of town and participate in an on‑call rotation.
