Electrician Apprentice

About the role

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrician Apprentice to join the team and assist in the construction of a new facility at Kings Bay Navy Base, GA.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of electrical trade functions including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.
• Install or repair electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, and other transmission equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and specifications; locate and diagnose electrical system issues; perform load calculations; use electrician's hand tools and testing instruments.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electrician hand tools and measuring/testing instruments.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.
