Electrical Systems Technology Instructor

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Central Georgia Technical College, is seeking an Electrical Systems Technology Instructor to join the Macon campus. The role involves delivering associate‑level instruction, preparing course materials, and supporting student success in a dynamic technical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, evening, and online instruction covering all phases of the electrical systems curriculum.
• Develop and update syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment tools in line with program goals.
• Maintain accurate grade books, student records, and inventory of instructional equipment.
• Mentor adjunct faculty and provide guidance on instructional best practices.
• Participate in professional development, accreditation activities, and departmental meetings.
• Travel to additional campus sites or dual‑enrollment locations as required.

Required profile

• Under general supervision, able to teach associate‑level electrical technology courses.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to follow TCSG policies, accreditation standards, and institutional regulations.
• Flexibility to work standard business hours and occasional evenings.

Required skills

• Knowledge of current in‑field electrical procedures.
