Economics Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Economics Instructor to join Central Georgia Technical College’s Macon campus. The role involves delivering associate‑level economics courses, developing curriculum, and supporting student success across traditional, evening, and online formats.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver economics lectures, labs, and discussions in classroom and virtual settings.
• Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment materials aligned with program goals.
• Grade assignments, maintain accurate grade books, and record student progress.
• Mentor adjunct faculty and serve as lead instructor when needed.
• Participate in professional development and comply with Technical College System of Georgia policies.
• Travel to dual‑enrollment sites and other college locations as required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics or related field (Doctorate preferred).
• Ability to teach the full economics curriculum at the associate level.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional travel.
