About the role

The State of Georgia, through North Georgia Technical College, seeks an enthusiastic Economics Instructor to join its faculty on a part‑time, semester‑based basis. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction to post‑secondary students and contributing to the college’s mission of student success.

Key responsibilities

Provide professional instruction aligned with the approved course syllabus.
Prepare curriculum and syllabus for assigned coursework.
Evaluate student progress, administer and grade examinations, and maintain accurate grade records.
Attend in‑service training, workshops, and seminars as required.
Support student retention efforts and meet with students, staff, and supervisors as needed.

Required profile

Master’s degree in Economics or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Economics from a regionally accredited institution.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Demonstrated proficiency with technology for instructional purposes.
