ECM/cUAS Field Services Engineer – Northern VA

About the role

Join Vaxcom Services LLC, a Parsons company, as a Field Services Engineer supporting a large, complex counter‑unmanned aerial systems (cUAS) program. You will provide hands‑on technical expertise, maintenance, and training for cUAS equipment deployed at multiple OCONUS sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, uninstall, and maintain cUAS systems in diverse environmental conditions, including temporary and permanent configurations.
• Perform technical inspections, fault diagnosis, LRU replacement, and system restoration on OCONUS deployments.
• Conduct basic programming of cUAS hardware and software, including firmware and load‑set upgrades.
• Develop and deliver training on system operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Provide recommendations for equipment modifications or upgrades based on field experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent 10+ years of related experience.
• Current Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/Polygraph quickly.
• 5+ years of progressive experience with RF and/or cellular communications, network infrastructure, or ground‑based electronic counter‑measures.
• Valid U.S. passport or ability to obtain one.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in extreme weather, high‑lift, and confined spaces.

Required skills

• Radio Frequency (R/F) transmission, detection, and deterrence equipment.
• cUAS system programming, firmware and software upgrades.
• Network infrastructure integration.
• Ground‑based electronic counter‑measures systems.
• Use of OEM manuals, engineering drawings, and technical data for troubleshooting.

What we offer

• Salary range: $112,200 – $196,400 per year.
