About the role

Banza is seeking an East Regional Sales Manager to drive growth of its chickpea‑based pasta, pizza, mac & cheese, and waffle products across the eastern United States. You will own sales targets, deepen retailer relationships, and help position Banza as the leading BFY pasta brand.

Key responsibilities

  • Own sales targets for Banza customers in the East, growing existing accounts and supporting key accounts such as Key Food, ShopRite, Ingles, Weis, Giant Eagle, Price Chopper, Market Basket, Tops, Foodtown, Lowes, Redners, and independent retailers.
  • Analyze market data to identify opportunities and craft compelling sales stories for retailers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailer and distributor teams to ensure effective execution and sustained growth.
  • Identify improvement areas across distribution, pricing, placement, and promotions, and take action to optimize performance.
  • Design and execute promotional plans that drive baseline growth and ROI.
  • Collaborate with Category Management and Brand Management to develop holistic strategies.
  • Participate in annual business planning and provide regular business updates.
  • Represent Banza at retail meetings and industry conferences.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) with 3‑5+ years of progressive account management experience in natural or conventional grocery channels within the food CPG industry.
  • Strong planning, customer management, and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and drive results.
  • Experience using syndicated data sources such as Nielsen, IRI, or SPINS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
