E-Commerce Team Leader

About the role

The E‑Commerce Team Leader oversees daily grocery delivery and pickup operations, ensuring safety, quality, and a superior customer experience. This fast‑paced position drives results through Associate Team Leaders and Supervisors while fostering an engaged, high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all E‑Commerce functions—including order fulfillment, safety, quality, productivity, and team engagement—across all shifts.
• Analyze KPIs, identify trends, and implement initiatives to improve operational performance.
• Execute operational plans based on forecasts, historical data, and business priorities while managing labor and supply costs.
• Partner with Store Leadership and cross‑functional teams to align E‑Commerce operations with broader store goals.
• Coach, evaluate, and hold accountable Associate Team Leaders and Supervisors.
• Make hiring decisions, develop succession plans, and ensure required training and certifications.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, food‑safety, and company safety standards through audits and preventive measures.
• Resolve complex customer escalations and drive improvements in order accuracy, on‑time delivery, and satisfaction scores.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and lead improvement projects.
• Create schedules, monitor real‑time operations, and adjust staffing to meet productivity targets.

• Proven leadership experience in fast‑moving retail or e‑commerce environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret metrics and forecast demand.
