Donation Pickup Driver (Part-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, courteous, and physically capable Donation Pickup Driver to join our team at Cornerstone Support Services. The role involves operating a company vehicle with a trailer to collect donated items from community members and support our upscale thrift store.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle with an attached trailer to scheduled donation pickup locations and safely load, secure, and transport donated items, including heavy furniture and boxes.
• Offer tax‑deductible donation forms to donors and maintain a professional, respectful demeanor.
• Unload donations at the store, assist with sorting, staging, and setting up furniture displays, and help customers load purchased items.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure trailer and equipment are kept in good condition.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience driving with a trailer.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and boxes up to 75 lbs.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
