About the role
Saronic Technologies is a leader in maritime autonomy, building intelligent platforms for sea operations. The Documentation Operations Lead will drive the end‑to‑end documentation process, manage content sprints, and ensure high‑quality technical content is delivered on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Triaging documentation requests, scoping with stakeholders and assigning work to writers.
- Owning sprint planning, backlog management, and deadline tracking aligned with product releases and engineering milestones.
- Maintaining visibility into writer capacity, workload balance, and early identification of resourcing risks.
- Applying a light‑touch coordination framework for early‑stage R&D products and transitioning them to full sprint management.
- Building and maintaining reporting on ticket age, burndown, completion rate, sprint velocity, documentation coverage, and backlog health.
- Managing publication workflows from review through delivery, including GitHub pull‑request reviews, branch maintenance, tagging, and CI/CD deployment.
- Creating and publishing changelogs, version tracking, and ensuring documentation records stay current across products.
Required profile
- Scrum‑master or equivalent agile delivery experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in technical writing, content operations, or related fields.
- Proven ability to plan and manage content sprints in an agile or Scrum environment.
- Strong organizational skills with experience handling backlogs, intake processes, and cross‑functional timelines.
- Excellent communicator who can translate ambiguity into structured, actionable plans for writers.
- Self‑starter comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and collaborating with engineering, product, and program teams.
Required skills
- GitHub (docs‑as‑code workflow, pull‑request review, branch management).
- Linear (issue tracking, burndown and velocity reporting).
- CI/CD pipelines for documentation deployment.
- Scrum/Agile methodology.
