District Manager – Retail (Austin)

About the role

Starbucks is seeking a District Manager to lead a portfolio of stores in the Austin area. You will develop exceptional Store Managers, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and drive growth across multiple locations while engaging with local communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute district‑level strategies to meet each store’s financial, operational and customer‑service goals.
• Coach, motivate and strengthen Store Managers, fostering a culture of leadership and ownership.
• Provide expertise on customer issues, staffing, store operations, and company policies.
• Monitor performance metrics, P&L statements and inventory controls across the district.

Required profile

• 5+ years of retail experience managing two or more stores, including P&L, inventory, operations and customer service.
• 5+ years of management experience leading a team of six or more with strong leadership and communication abilities.
• 3+ years in a customer‑service oriented role.
• Experience in a multi‑unit environment and knowledge of retail or restaurant operations and financial reporting.
• High School diploma or GED (college degree or 4+ years US military service may substitute).
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States and ability to work full‑time with variable hours.
