Director, Strategic Finance

About the role

Bisnow is seeking a Director of Strategic Finance to lead financial planning and strategy across the business. Reporting directly to the CEO and the finance function, you will own the forecasting process, shape the financial narrative for investors, and influence key investment and hiring decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly forecast, including leading indicators, historical benchmarks, and sales‑input rhythm.
• Develop and present the monthly financial review and weekly investor updates with clear, defensible analysis.
• Partner closely with the CEO to align on strategic priorities and ensure the financial story supports board and investor discussions.
• Manage and mentor the FP&A Manager, expanding the capacity of the finance function.
• Validate assumptions in multi‑year plans, pressure‑test optimism and pessimism, and surface risks before they become surprises.
• Lead financial planning for non‑core business units, including digital initiatives and new event categories.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leader with extensive FP&A experience in a fast‑moving media or technology environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of producing polished, concise investor‑facing materials.
• Track record of influencing senior executives and driving cross‑functional alignment.
