Director of Program Management

About the role

Amdocs is seeking a Director of Program Management to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a large, multi‑workstream technology platform for a major telecommunications client. The role serves as the senior coordination point across business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical leadership, ensuring complex software programs are executed at scale and aligned with operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all program streams to maintain a single, coherent delivery narrative.
• Draft and refine business requirements in partnership with the Business Sponsor and application stakeholders.
• Connect stakeholders across business, delivery, and technical functions, proactively managing cross‑functional dependencies.
• Drive program cadence, including planning cycles, status reviews, and executive reporting.
• Ensure alignment between delivery outputs and business needs, closing gaps between technical execution and operational reality.
• Manage escalations, surfacing conflicts or resourcing gaps early and guiding them to resolution.
• Partner with Systems Owners and technical leadership to keep program plans technically grounded and feasible.
• Build and maintain governance artifacts such as RACI structures, program roadmaps, and status frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading large, multi‑workstream technology programs.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate operational input into clear, actionable specifications.
• Experience managing program cadence, executive reporting, and escalation processes.
