Director, North American B2B Secular Shift – Construction & Trades

About the role

Mastercard’s Commercial & New Payments Flows North America business is looking for a Director to lead the B2B secular shift in the Construction & Trades segment across the United States and Canada. The role will drive growth by commercialising Mastercard solutions, building a strong sales pipeline and closing high‑value deals with issuer partners and distribution channels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the Construction & Trades secular shift go‑to‑market strategy across North America, expanding Mastercard’s footprint and market share.
• Work cross‑functionally with the Commercial and New Payment Flows team to partner and cross‑sell solutions.
• Partner closely with Account and Business Development teams to engage clients, identify high‑potential opportunities and close deals.
• Drive commercialization efforts together with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Franchise and Customer Delivery stakeholders.
• Ensure a needs‑based, customer‑centric narrative is communicated throughout the organization and to prospects.
• Support client‑facing negotiations, lead or co‑lead key deals and align Mastercard’s value proposition with client needs.
• Track and manage pipeline performance using Salesforce (SFDC) and other commercialization tools.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and execute go‑to‑market strategies in a B2B payments environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams including finance, sales, marketing and delivery.
• Strong client‑engagement skills with a focus on building pipelines and closing deals.
• Ability to communicate a customer‑centric narrative internally and externally.

Required skills

• Salesforce (SFDC) for pipeline tracking and commercialization.
