Director, Investor Relations

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Director of Investor Relations to shape and communicate its investment narrative. Working closely with the Head of Investor Relations, you will help investors understand Anthropic’s mission, strategy, financial performance, and competitive advantages.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Investor Relations to define program priorities and direction.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior members of the investment community.
• Draft and refine investor‑facing messaging on financial performance, strategy, and key initiatives.
• Represent Anthropic in investor meetings, addressing questions across the business and product portfolio.
• Advise leadership on investor sentiment, market expectations, and potential reactions to strategic decisions.
• Develop a view of the shareholder base and lead targeted outreach.
• Track AI and technology trends, providing concise internal briefings on market perception.
• Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives with legal, finance, communications, and other teams.
• Prepare executives for investor conversations by anticipating questions and sharpening messages.
• Help build scalable systems, templates, and processes for a lean investor relations function.

Required profile

• Proven experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or a comparable capital‑markets role.
• Strong analytical rigor with the ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts into clear narratives.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to senior investors and executives.
• Self‑starter who can operate autonomously and build new processes.
