Director, Integration and Institutional Effectiveness

About the role

The Director, Integration and Institutional Effectiveness is a senior enterprise leadership position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The role bridges strategy, operations, governance and risk to ensure the COO portfolio delivers coordinated outcomes and sustained capability across a global institution.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the COO’s principal integrator and senior adviser, translating strategy into coordinated delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Lead the Office of the COO, setting priorities, operating rhythms, quality standards and accountability for a multidisciplinary team.
• Represent the COO with the Executive Leadership Team and external stakeholders, influencing decisions and escalating material risks.
• Design and embed enterprise‑wide effectiveness frameworks, governance mechanisms and performance dashboards.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in a complex, global, matrixed organization.
• Proven track record advising C‑suite executives on high‑stakes strategic, operational and governance matters.
• Demonstrated success leading institution‑wide transformation, operating‑model redesign and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
