About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Director to lead its Historical Research Center. The role will provide strategic oversight, foster research initiatives, and ensure the Center’s contributions align with UAMS’s mission of education, research, and clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the operations of the Historical Research Center.
  • Develop and implement research programs and collaborations.
  • Oversee staff, budgets, and resources to support the Center’s objectives.
  • Promote the Center’s work within the university and the broader community.

Required profile

  • Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
