Director, Finance Systems - Revenue Systems Engineering

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a senior leader to own the technical architecture, implementation, and optimization of its Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) systems as the company scales globally. The Director will act as the technical lead for revenue systems within the ERP ecosystem, driving automation, integration, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the revenue platform architecture supporting multi‑entity and global operations.
• Develop scalable DBT/SQL data pipelines for high‑volume financial transactions with low‑latency real‑time integration.
• Build automated revenue‑recognition workflows that ensure ASC 606 compliance for subscription and consumption‑based billing.
• Enhance data transformation models, establish testing frameworks, and support system integration testing and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with Revenue Accounting, Data Infrastructure, and BizTech teams to create enterprise‑grade integration patterns and automated reconciliation engines.
• Lead month‑end close technical support, ensuring system reliability under peak loads.
• Innovate by integrating AI agents for discrepancy investigation, automated testing, and self‑service analytics.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows while mentoring team members.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise billing and revenue systems within a global finance environment.
• Strong background in data engineering, financial systems integration, and compliance (ASC 606).
• Proven leadership in building and scaling technical teams.
